  2. Machine translation services, used solely to facilitate linguistic accessibility of news articles, while adopting quality-control measures to avoid any alteration of meaning, bias, or factual distortion.

3. AI Risk Classification under the AI Act

Considering the nature and scope of the limited AI functionalities described above, the systems employed by Austral News fall within the “Minimal or No Risk” category as defined by the AI Act.

This classification is based on the following factors:

• Absence of AI systems that could affect fundamental rights, health, or safety.
• Strict human oversight of all automated processes.
• Transparent disclosure of any machine-assisted translation or automation when relevant.
